Support Your Local Fire & Rescue
How Your Donation Helps RFC Fire & Rescue
Why Your Support Makes a Difference
RFC Fire & Rescue is 100% volunteer-powered. Our 18 cross-trained members serve 72.7 square miles across Readmond, Friendship, and Cross Village townships — including 26 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline and significant forested land.
Unlike many departments, we have no paid staff. Every dollar you donate goes directly toward:
- Essential equipment and vehicle maintenance
- Ongoing training and certifications
- Community safety programs and prevention efforts
- Emergency response readiness for our year-round and seasonal residents
- Ongoing training and certifications
When you donate to RFC, you’re helping ensure our volunteer firefighters and first responders have the tools and training they need to keep our townships safe.
